Journey Goal and Strategy

Journey is a race mode. It is closer to the traditional rules of Pachisi.

Your goal is to move all five of your pieces from your Yard to your Home.

The first player to bring all five pieces Home finishes in first place. The game continues to determine second, third, and fourth place.

Depending on how the game unfolds, a Journey game may last more than an hour.

Your main objective is to make steady progress toward Home.

Use captures and blockades to slow your opponents while protecting your own pieces.

Blockades can protect pieces, prevent opponents from advancing, and create favorable capture opportunities.

Captures can set opponents back, break their blockades, and remove pieces that threaten your own.
