Learning Pachisi Reforged

Learn Pachisi Reforged through the in-game manual, Rules, Info, and bot matches. Focus on one system at a time instead of memorizing every rule first.

What should I learn first?

Start with the five pieces, Exit Credits, Roll Store, Noble movement, and turn direction. Then learn the Midpoint, groups, blockades, captures, and scoring.

Which mode should I learn first?

Start with Journey. Its 30-minute clock gives more time to learn progression, Home, checkpoints, and completion bonuses before Brawl's faster combat focus.

How should I use bot matches?

Test one mechanic at a time: save a roll, move the Noble, form or split a group, change direction, make a capture, or reach a checkpoint. Compare the result with the relevant rules.

How do I learn the Roll Store?

Try spending a Guard roll immediately, then saving one for later. Stored rolls remain available until used, while fuller stores reduce new rolls.

How do I learn the Noble?

Treat the Noble as a separate role, not a fifth Guard. It uses separate movement values, cannot capture, and has greater consequences when captured.

How do I learn direction and the Midpoint?

Compare Forward and Backward routes. All pieces moved during a turn share the selected direction. A piece must satisfy its Midpoint requirement before entering its Home path.

How do I learn scoring?

Use the scoring guide with the in-game score breakdown. Journey emphasizes progression and completion; Brawl emphasizes combat.

Is there a guided tutorial?

No. The current learning tools are the manual, Rules, Info articles, and bot matches.
