Movement and blockade rules that apply to the Noble.
Noble Specific Movement Rules
The Noble has different blockade rules than Guards.
Your own Guards blockade your Noble. Even a single Guard can block your Noble’s movement.
Opponent pieces follow the normal blockade rules. An opponent group of two or more pieces blocks your Noble, but a single opponent Guard or opponent Noble does not.
Because your own Guards can block your Noble, movement order is important. You must decide whether to move your Guards first or your Noble first.
Castles allow your Noble to move past your own Guards. If one of your Guards is on a Castle, your Noble may move past that Castle instead of being blocked by the Guard.
For example, if you want to reposition your Noble in front of a Guard, you can move your Guard first onto a Castle, then move your Noble past the Castle and the Guard on it.
Your Home path is another exception: your Guards do not block your Noble while they are inside your Home path.
