Browser and Platform Guide

Pachisi Reforged runs in modern browsers using JavaScript and WebAssembly.

Does the game require a download?

No. Open Scrimtera in a compatible browser with JavaScript and WebAssembly enabled.

Can I play on phones, tablets, and desktops?

Yes. The browser client supports common phone, tablet, and desktop layouts. Larger screens may make the board easier to learn.

Do touch and mouse controls change gameplay?

No. Touch and pointer controls select the same legal actions.

Can I change the theme?

Yes. Light, dark, and system themes affect appearance only.

Can I turn sound off?

Yes. Sound and music settings do not affect gameplay.

Are animations part of the rules?

No. Animations visualize game state but do not determine legal moves. See the formal rules if behavior is unclear.

Where does the game logic run?

The browser runs the game client and on-device bot engines. Traversing sends browser-generated legal options to the server, which selects a move from those options.

What if the game behaves unexpectedly?

Reload the page and record the browser, device, mode, and error. If the problem continues, use the contact page.
